you're a noob if you really think you can give em 800 watts and not be able to smell them, always give subs their rated RMS power, not max.. if i put 1500 watts to one of my CVX subs, i'd blow in a matter of a few minutes

Gave my Rockford Fosgate 500 max rated at 250 i believe...didn't have a problem at all.

sure the amp wasnt 500 max and 250 rms? besides, its a bigger difference going from 250rms to 500rms, than it would be to go from 400, to 1000 watts

First of all how is asking if your system will hit "Stupid"? I don't find any stupididty in that question at all. It's a simple question. Bottom line is your just mad at life, and have nothing else to do with your life besides bash peoples shit.

Then define "hits". Is it a measurement in db? What exactly does it mean? Nobody knows. That's why it's stupid. Geez. I'm not mad at life... quite the opposite I have a great life. I just get tired of idiots running rampant and unchecked. You asked a stupid question and got a stupid answer. What vehicle is it in? What size alt? What box? There are so many variables that nobody could come close to answering your question accurately.

Personally something isn't loud to me until it's mid 140's on a TL. Your system will be lucky if it gets up that high unless you're in a panda.

I mean honestly this shit is top of the line compared to what some of the kids have in my school. Like sony xplod 2 10"s and a 500 xplod amp. Or 1 Eclispse 15" i think with a 800 watt hifonics amp.

I mean honestly this shit is top of the line compared to what some of the kids have in my school. Like sony xplod 2 10"s and a 500 xplod amp. Or 1 Eclispse 15" i think with a 800 watt hifonics amp.

Where I lived back in Kentucky, them fools in high school actually sell xplodes with holes in them patched with silicone glue to each other, and rolln with Soundstorm amps. Now that shit is just sad.

I didn't say anything was wrong with eclipse but tjust his amp and how it is hooked up. Eclipse obv arn't amazing subs.
