if you're not going to buy from brands like Fi, DD, Sundown, Ia, etc., go pick up two alpine type r's

they will "hit" more than enough

Ok so what you're saying is... EVERYTHING from alpine and kicker even their lowest end product is better than the best pioneer product?
We are talking about specific models here... not manufacturer because we know they have different levels of product for each brand and the quality levels overlap... so your post was erroneous. This is why I flame you every time you post. You're incompetent.

I was talking about mid range..like a fine line within the middle of them all and then you base it..of course there is common sense that some of the HIGH END pioneer stuff would be better than say a low end kicker sub..thats basic logic and common sense..

anyway, the cvrs are def not up there, but it you do decide to go with them there are some things you can tomake them sound as decent as they can. 1) your gonna need a little better of an electrical system. big three should be and maybe a batt in the trunk as well as the 1/0 kit from knukonceptz to run 2000 rms. more importantly you are going to want to make a nice box and not use the prefab one becuase the sound like complete ass. they are tuned very high something like 55? i believe which is not musical whatsoever and your lows will be horrid. make another ported to better specs. a ittle bigger on the net volume and tuned lower, say 35 for those subs
