if thats what it takes make them do it. you paid for a working install, you did not pay for that problem. The issue with my speaker is basically what we had with our home cinema setup with one of the rear speakers; it turned out we just need to strip about an inch of wire back and re-do the connections. You guys reckon it's the same with my car speakers? I can't be ****ed if they have to re-do the whole thing...
Was that a joke? It is the same current. Ha?oh so negative and postive are the same current? thanks bill nye!!
amen.. you had no part of the problem.. you go to a restaurant and they mess up your order you don't pay for it and the replacement.. they fix it and bite the cost of the mess up.. alot of times depending on error size they give you a discount or free aswell because they want repeat customers..if thats what it takes make them do it. you paid for a working install, you did not pay for that problem.
I was thanking him for being captain obvious and a science teacher..Was that a joke? It is the same current. Ha?
However, I do not necessarily buy into the idea that running the RCA's through your chassis is the same as running it beside your power cable. The power cable will be handling the entire current directly, while the ground path through the chassis means the current will be spread out over a much larger area, thus creating a much less significant magnetic field in an one localized spot like your RCA's.
So you agree with him that it doesn't matter even if you zip tie your RCA's and power wires together, since you are already sitting the wires on the ground path conductor anyway?I was thanking him for being captain obvious and a science teacher..
no.. like you said above.. you have shit tons more direct path going through that cable then spread out through the entire frame although most will head through one spot as it will find the easiest method of traveling.. now then good shielded rcas and you won't have a problem.. but cheaper rcas you might..So you agree with him that it doesn't matter even if you zip tie your RCA's and power wires together, since you are already sitting the wires on the ground path conductor anyway?
im a bay manager at best buy and i will say this....your problems with your install are your own fault for not checking to see who was doing your install first and checking to see if they know anything and asking to see if they have any documentation of their work....I can say about bb install bays that they are very hit or miss in some cases you will find phenomenal installers such as the couple nominated for installer of the year in others you will find complete idiots but determining which will be working on your car is on you. Unlike the rest of these idiots on this forum i would not write bb off completely...i would likely avoid that one from now on and make sure i check next time....now that being said the EXACT same thing can be said from custom shops anywhere...some cases phenomenal other cases idiots. So to all those that say bb and cc are the worst the same should be being said for all custom shops out there. SO in the future before going to a custom shop or bb or cc ask if the installer has some documentation of their work hell i have a titled a notebook of my installs that sits on the counter here have it is custom work and not shit i do here but it gives the customer an idea of the work they are going to get and any other installer that takes any pride is his/her work will likely do the same.
