I guess that'd be an infinite baffle alignment, anything over 4 times the speaker's Vas...

Some drivers do well in that environment, others don't...

Tuning higher than you think is another problem, you'd be unloading the driver below tuning and running into possible mechanical problems.

Try to stick near the recommended...going over will reduce power handling and make it easier to reach the mechanical limits.

well I actually want to go under not over this spec ........ I need to take out 1'' or 2" on all the general dimension what do you think?

i heard somewhere that some crazy *** quasi8th order bandpass cant turn a sub into a paperweight if the test tone frequency isnt rightt (i guess theyre onyl for spl?)
