Wich way to point my box

I'm just about done with my sealed enclosure. I was wondering wich way I should face the sub. It's a Q12 in 1.554 cubes. Going in a full size 88 Blazer.

probably towards the rear, but you should try it foward, up and back to see. it just kinda depends.

Since it is my first box, I thought I'd put up a few pics. It's not totally done yet. Still have to wet sand and maybe another coat or two of color and then the clear.

I sure hope this Q works in this encosure or it's a big waste of time and effort. Not to mention the money I spent on the sub. I really don't want to go ported if I can help it, I might have to if it sounds like a** though.

The blue is not quite that bright. It is much darker than that, GM midnight blue to be exact.

that's a good looking box. as long as internal air space is right, it should wang real good.

Thanks. The internal air space is just a little over 1.5 cubes, 1.554 to be exact. I'm just a little worried because of all problems I've heard with Q's in sealed enclosures.

Man ported is the way to go for that sub tuned to like 33hz. But it prolly will still sound good.
