Think the extra size is worth the extra given it will basically only sit the length of a bed away from me?

Any glaring reason these wouldnt work well as a cheap HDTV / gaming monitor?

The only other difference between the two is the 25.5" has Component hook up and 170 degree viewing angle instead of 160 (bold).

Kthnx

Posters like you are the reason we can't have nice things.
It was a couple hundred pages long and it showed I had posted in it and I remember having posted in a thread with a title of the same name. I always read through a thread before posting. But I had already posted in the thread so didn't go back to read it again.

oh i have already have a cheap htib to use for audio.
Oh alright. So the reason you are getting a monitor in place of a tv is the price? Its mostly just about what you are willing to pay. Since you arent using it as a monitor, the highest resolution you will need for a TV is 1920x1080. I think you could find a cheaper 25-28" one with that resolution than the one you have which is 1920x1200, which is a waste for a TV IMO.
