I know something like 90% of scientists are Atheist.
average across all disciplines its like 60%, but among 'elite' scientists, in the national academy of sciences, its around 95%

dudes do that at the local mall and grocery store all the time. except they do with with "high quality" home stereo equipment.

its some cheap shit made in china, being sold to you for $500, and supposedly has a resale value of $3000...

never did buy that shit, but i know a dude who fell for it (although he only payed $300)

The Republican party has been anti-science for a long time. There is, however, also an anti-science movement on the left among those who cater to woo like New Age and Alternative medicine. Amongst scientists, anti-Republican sentiments have been growing, culminated in Chris Mooney's book "The Republican War on Science."

I thought it was interesting that Flip objected to being lumped in with Poli-Sci; I'm used to hearing physicists whine about being lumped in with economists. Goes to show that there's always someone out there who is a "better" scientist than you are.
