Will google voice and what follows turn cellular providers into dumb pipes? I hope so. Something like GV combined with a my circle type plan makes the amount of minutes a plan offers irrelevant.

i think eventually cellular services will be a pipe just like the internet is today. The only thing you will pay the wireless provider for is the connection.
