I dont smoke weed but i hate when everyone calls it a gateway drug. Of course someone is going to most likely try weed first, its cheap safe and 100% harmless.
Who do you know that has ever shot up some heroin or snorted a line the first time the tried anything?
Most of the people that I know that tried harder stuff after trying weed were mainly doing it because they got in trouble for weed and the other shit gets out of your system quicker.......
Also, why isn't alcohol considered the gateway drug? I am not saying that alcohol is any better or worse than weed, but I know alot of people that drink almost every night and it shows more of a loss of productivity. I once watched a show that was on how bad weed is for you. One guy that was interviewed was in jail and he said he had been an alcoholic since he was 14 and started smoking weed when he was 15. He then proceeded to say that he wished he would have never done weed and that it was the gateway.......

I have smoked green off and on since like 8th grade when I first tried it. By no means is it physically addictive. I didn't smoke for a couple years when I first started college. Only other thing I have tried is mushrooms........
I don't feel that my life is that "held back" from smoking green. I am 23, have a bachelors degree, working in IT as a support tech...trying to keep up on school loan payments and hoping to move up slowly while I go for network+ and mcse........
Either way.....who cares
faulkton just likes getting you guys riled up
