So I went to my first class today and the prof so thoughtfully had copied all the books we needed for the class into one soft-back bound book with the course name and number on the front for us to pick up at a Korean kinkos type place. Total cost.. $14.

My second prof didnt go quite so far, but said all the reading was on his website and we could put it on a thumb-drive and have it all printed in a book on our own time.. i expect the cost to be roughly the same.

Beat that USA.

additionally, since they are the prof's books.. they have all the important shit underlined and his notes in the margin.

I had heard that everyone just copies books here.. and it was WAY cheaper than the US.. but i didnt realize it was like school sanctioned.
