im not poor and it Affects me greatly. but then again i get bad mileage and drive 1.5 hr round trip to work and back

Congress is currently investigating oil execs. Saw it on the news two days ago. They're making them explain why gas prices are soaring while they make record profits every quarter. Not like it will do anything though.

don't watch either. Just saw it on the local news. Didn't look into it any further. I highly doubt this investigation will yield any positive long-term results. I honestly hope I am proven wrong and made to look like a retard though.
