X2 man, I dont understand people would want to spend most of their time ****ing talking to someone through txts. Alot of girls wonder why I dont reply. I tell em if I NEED to call them then I will. I dont use the phone much as it is, I only use it when I need to take care of something.

txting is great for getting info from people it would be weird to call.

Like i probably wouldnt call someone from class to ask them shit about an assignment, but i might creep their number on facebook and txt them about it.

Txting has non of the awkwardness inherent in calling people you barely know.

additionally it is great for getting info from someone you know will want to talk forever.. like those long talkers who dont seem to get the hint i dont want to chat, i just wanted a question answered.
