he is just a little bish.

The more i think about it, the more i realize he really has nothing going for him except all the exchange students think he is ultra cool cuz he is Asian and he will be their friend. They show up here, some of them barely speaking engrish, and he is super excited to be their friend. He has no American friends at school and pretty much only associates with the Asian exchange students.

Then i show up, with a newfound interest in Korea and exchange students, and he is afraid I'm going to take the only thing he has going for him. So he responds the only way he knows how, passive-aggressively with no confrontation.

I assure you he will regret taking this route.

The study abroad office pretty much told him to stfu and that if he didn't want to go with me also going, he was welcome to cancel his trip.

I unlike him, do not get angry/worried and make hasty moves before thinking what the ultimate outcome will be. I choose to plot and devote my efforts to certain victory.

I would have never thought that going to the study abroad office and trying to tell them who to let participate would work. It was a foolish and ill conceived plan that anyone with half a brain would have seen ending in failure.

A friend of mine did that after art school. His experience was positive and hearing about it further cemented my interest in trying to spend a year over there. He did say that without experience it is hard to get a good job in a major city like Seoul. He was in a small town about an hour away from Busan, but really wished he was in Seoul or Busan.

A friend of mine did that after art school. His experience was positive and hearing about it further cemented my interest in trying to spend a year over there. He did say that without experience it is hard to get a good job in a major city like Seoul. He was in a small town about an hour away from Busan, but really wished he was in Seoul or Busan.

Im a college graduate with a couple of courses in education

I hear all I need is a Visa and a 2 week course to be eligible for teaching over there.

I dont like big cities though (Im trying to leave NYC)

yeah I'm pretty sure you have to have a 4 year degree to get the work visa, but as my friend proved it doesn't have to be anything related to education. His degree was in studio arts...

And in reality, i don't really give a shit about his attempt to keep me from Korea. Of course my initial reaction was one of retribution, but in reality that would take effort and he isn't worth any effort.
