The forum is what it is. Its an audio forum if you check all the sections but the lounge. Its a little entertainment when your bored if you look at the lounge.

The people posting pics of their giblets was a bit much though, other than that its all good.

I've seen better forums and I've seen worse forums but to tell you the truth I haven't seen too many as lively as this site. It's entertaining to say the least!

Everyone has their "good old days" stuff and since I'm 52 I have more than most..LOL! The one constant is change as old members drift off, new ones come in, dynamics change, people reminisce and next thing you know, history has repeated itself. 2008 will look like the good old days in 2012. The cast of characters will change but the beat goes on.

no, its completely not all good. There are WAYYY to many people creating completely pointless threads. These should not be allowed.. PERIOD. I've been a member for what, like 4 years or so....i know others have been much longer, and just inthe last year i'd say this place has gone to the shhitter.... Even the most experienced guys on here will post dump on peoples threads, giving absolutely no helpful answers, and just criticize, or just leave a stupid comment like, "change your blinker fluid" sorry maybe like 10 yrs ago that was funny but c'mon people....get over yourselves, your not funny anymore

I would honestly blame the mods. The majority of them at least. Supporting and provoking silly behaviors like posting nuttsack pics won't help this site much.I am completly against behavior like this...

Other things that didn't help ca.com rep:

Having a thread w/ **** stickied Again, against this, but nothing can be done when the same person can undelete the thread and posts.

Having a sticky that flames an ex mod There is a long history with this. Nothing will change, said mod was never voted in and didnt like to relay what his actions were. He would jump the gun and do things that werent right...not saying that we all havent, just his was consecutive.

Mods flaming members Member flame member, members flame mods...its a forum, its going to happen and you have to have thick skin. Outside the lounge however I personally am against this.

useless post by mods, even in FS threads Useless posts there is nothing wrong with, inside the lounge. In the classifieds though I think its wrong and you should report it or PM another mod.

allowing favored members to bend/break rules. This is a touchy subject...Yes usually the OG members get a little more lieniency...is it right? No. Usually its rules that arent as big as say posting ****...

Mods not having a pair for allowing banned members to continue to post With the proxys today and ability to reregister within minutes it hard to do anything about this.

It's easy to see how this place is going down the drain.. when helping others and improving the forum looked down upon. This forum isnt going down the drain...its still growing faster then ever. You may think so because its changing, but these type boards change all the time. ..Imprioving the forum is never looked down upon.

What changes would you like to see?

If someone posts something inappropriate, and I see it, I'll take care of it...but I don't see everything...and I've only been back for around a month or so now..

Plus, there's only so much we can do with the limited abilities as mods we're given. If someone is banned, there's nothing stopping them from signing right back up....and we don't always catch them.

I try and do what I can in other sections, but I can't sit here and read every post that is made...I don't get paid to be here.

I try and emphasize in the classifieds that if you need anything, PM me. If there's anyone in here that has PM'ed me with an issue, they'll tell you I did what I could to help them out. When I'm on the forum, if anyone PM's me with an issue, it won't be ignored.

However, I can't sit here and babysit people.

Honestly, what would you like to see done? I'm not trying to be rude- I honestly would like to know what some of you guys would like to see done here to improve things.

This site shouldn't be important enough for anybody to care that much about...except for maybe Goob.

This site still gets tons of exposure, traffic, new members etc....so why would Goob really give a shit, in his eyes I would assume its mission accomplished.

Moral of the story, it is what it is, like it or leave it, *****ing usually doesn't accomplish anything.
