If we were all self sustainent farmers, we could live wherever we like. Then exchange crops and shit. It may be okay.
well yea i realize that, but what im saying is, where exactly would we grow? i mean, if my car was to disappear right now, and the apt would vanish and i had to sustain myself by farming, id be a dead man. the only place near me that MIGHT work would be the local park. but growing a plant from seed usually takes a long *** time too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

although assuming we dont give up all our possessions, growing inside an apt would work. the stuff they do with hydroponics is quite amazing. you could dedicate a whole room to growing lettuce, tomatoes etc etc (please leave the marijuana jokes out of this lol, as im sure someone will mention them)

LMAO
We don't have any of that nonsense up here.
well for you and flip, that would obviously be a problem. so what exactly is your stance on the whole gas situation? i mean, would you be willing to take it in the *** for $10/gal in hope that the new technology would be developed in the long run?

i gotta admit i havnt read the whole thread, i was gonna stay out of it, but then i decided to just put in my 2 cents and now im deep in this mudhole lol

Even at $10/gal there is no guarentee that alternative energy will develop. If alternative energy cars do not pass safety and emissions standards, then $10 gal tax won't help.

While I support alternative energgy a $10/gal tax is not the correct forumla.

There is nothing saying you have to sign over your rights, but you do have to register any findings with the State Registar and be taxed approrpriately...depending on when you bought the property.
thats in Tennessee? so if you struck oil in your back yard (theoretically) you would still own it, just be taxed like normal?

I am currently searching the Tennessee code. I don't live out west where they do a bunch of socialized bullshit.
So you are a hillbilly?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
