Yeah i had a choice between Ba,MBA, Hume Fogg, and MLK choose Ba Because of football and MBA is full of ****.

I toured MLK middle school...I am curious if they could have found a worse location.

I didn't think BA/MBA where magnet schools, I thought they were private. I guess they could offer scholarships.

I got into Hume Fogg with grades and lottery. My parents to this day don't understand how hard it is for white males to get into schools like that...although asians had it even tougher.

Public K-12, public undergrad, private Jesuit grad school. School is what you make of it. Now that I am working in the real world it seems that public schooling has done just fine. If you take the initiative to succeed it doesn't matter where you go. I personally think private colleges are a total ripoff. Only one's worth a **** are in the top ten. I don't think the private school I am currently in is that much better than my run of the mill public university. And its not like my school is low ranked (top 15 for MBA). Only reason I am going to this one is its a change of pace from the university I graduated from and my work is paying a good chunk of the tuition.

Haha yeah They are private and they do cost, but i also got into Hume Fogg and MLK (which was ranked 9th in the nation 2 years ago). Ba is like 15 grand a year MBA is like 19-20 grand still cheap compared to other private school in our division.
