Now its going to be officially easy for everyone to bring guns to school yaaaayy. Even after columbine and all that shit. Some kid thats being picked on by everyone is going to school with an automatic weapon and raise hell. Everyone else would have a gun and shoot his *** down, and for the fun of it they would all just shoot each other not knowing whos who. What a bloody mess. hahahahahaha. But providing the students had adequate gun safety classes, I see no harm in them bringing them in high school as well. Although carrying a rifle around would be quite cumbersome.

The whole reason why states can pass laws and self regulate is that one state might not feel its appropriate to have this sort of allowment and another has no issue with it.

remember, it just takes 1 pissed off retard to pull the triggers at school. Now if it was for ROTC class and shit, and they practice with rifles and the rule is controlled to where student cant bring em, but just the teachers, and its all locked up in the cabinet. I would understand. And im assuming thats how its going to be.

Section 1. No public institution of higher education may regulate or restrict the right to carry or possess a firearm in accordance with state law. No public institution of higher education may expel, dismiss, or penalize any person who carries or possesses a firearm in accordance with state law. However, any public institution of higher education may require that any firearm in a campus dormitory of a public institution of higher education not in a person's immediate possession be stored in a locked gun safe.

Section 2. For the purposes of this Act only, the term, public institution of higher education, means any public postsecondary educational institution under the Board of Regents or any public postsecondary technical institute under the Board of Education.

Do any of you not remember Viginia Tech? That is why they want to allow carrying on campus. I am all for this law and wish Minnesota would follow suit.

The only people that would be allowed to carry on campus is people with permits to carry, which is the same people that are carrying everywhere else. Every restaurant, gas station, mall, movie theater, etc could have someone carrying a pistol. You haven't seen any mass murders from them yet have you?
