I think people focus way too much on the wrong victims. People break into other peoples' homes then sue when they get injured, spill coffee on themselves then sue McDonald's because it was hot, etc. This country is producing a bunch of ******* who don't want to take personal responsibility for their actions. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but when I read a story like this, I think to myself "Good for that dad." Sure, it's a bit disturbing to read, but the kid sodomized the guys' 8 year old daughter for Christ's sake. We can all dance around the idea that maybe the kid learned the behavior from somewhere, but all that does is alleviate the blame. Obviously there has to be some sort of balance in the justice system, but I don't see how this dad going to jail is any more just than being able to exact revenge on someone who did that to his little girl. A hundred years ago, you ****ed with someone, chances are you were getting shot. Now, you **** with someone, they **** with you back, you sue them. That's bullshit in my opinion. Nobody is afraid to do anything anymore because if whoever they hurt retaliates, it's time to put all the blame on them for retaliating. I realize the broad implications of justifying the whole "eye-for-an-eye" mentality, but I think in a lot of cases, why the fvck not??? Someone rapes and kills 3 women and gets sentenced to death, why leave him on death row for 20 years eating and drinking the government's money away, only to be 'humanely put to death?' Take him out into an abandoned house, **** him with a metal pole, and put a bullet in his head. Maybe less people would think about doing stupid shit like raping an 8 year old girl if their punishment was exacted in the same manner.

Cliff notes: Good for that dad. Too bad the 18 year old lived.

I fully support the step father's actions... You want to **** my daughter then I'm going to **** your *** with a metal tool (what kind of tool?) and show you how it feels to get ***** by someone you trust.

I have a 6yr old daughter.

He would've been beaten to death with my bare hands, plain and simple. I say the sick **** is lucky to have escaped with his life and if I were on the jury at the father's trial it would be hung //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
