Let's just think about this for a second...What actually makes a criminal a criminal? When politicians throw out these pointless laws, like required permits to concealed carry, they don't stop the criminals from doing anything. It just restricts law abiding citizens like us and makes it harder to defend ourselves.
How many people do you know would try and rob you or threaten your life or whatever if you had your Glock23 holstered out in the open?

not only all the points you made above but dont we already have laws about permits, waiting periods, background checks? like you said it only makes us law abiding citizens wait longer to get our guns.....do we really think that criminals and felons are robbing and killing people with legal registered guns that they purchased?

the guns the criminals have are most likely stolen to begin with....maybe if more people were able to conceal and carry(with proper gun training of course) and the gun charge wasnt always the first charged dropped in most cases people might actually fear carrying an illegal firearm.....we have all these gun laws but most of the time the 30 yr sentence for the gun charge gets dropped.....

if we enforced the laws we had we wouldnt need to make more......

Unfortunately it takes much longer then that in some places. I just finish and handed in my paperwork for my CCP about 2 weeks ago. I was told to expect 4-6months for New York State to process it and get it back to me, if they accept it at all.

Sounds more like budget issues than law issues. I have a security clearance that took well over a year when techinically it should have taken a couple of weeks. Not enough people to process requests. And if you are unlucky enough to get jacked in the next couple of months that sucks. But chances are you will be packing before that occurs.

i also fukked up answering one question, i know senators have no term limits but i read the question too fast and answered as if it was asking how long is a senators term..
