its pathetic to actually care if the girl says shit about the neighbors daughter, like her parents worried...and its pathetic to kill yourself because of messages like the girl did.

i feel bad for the parents of the girl (and the girl as obviously she couldnt handle shit for stress ), but that doesnt change i still feel embarassed for them about the situation.

i also blame the parents for knowing she was suffering from depression and not helping to treat it (unless she was on prescribed meds that supposedly have been known to give young teens suicidal thoughts)

I agree with you that it was tragic and the girls parents should have had better care an awareness if they knew their daughter was having a problem with depression. However, can you honestly say the offending parents(adults) were not in the wrong for exploiting a little girl?

I think depression is a real and dangerous problem. Yeah, it's stupid if that is specifically what pushed a kid over the edge, but I think it's tough to account for someone's state of mind unless you're in their position.

A real problem exists if it was the parents behind these messages. That is the worst part, in my opinion.

There must've been some seriously awful comments, because even as a depressed 13 year old, some random kid you don't even saying I'm mean wouldn't really bother me.

Both the mother and the neighbors are wrong. What could the mother have argued with the daughter about? The neighbors need to lose custody of their children. And be fined. And then shot.

oh no. i definatly agree both parents are pretty worthless (i dont know if thats how my post came across but thats how i meant it).

parents A: needed to take care of their kids issue (maybe they did try, im just assuming here)

parents B: did some stupid *** shit, by messing with the kid trying to see if she would say bad things about their daughter (like it really ****ing matters what the girl says)

i wouldnt say either is totally at fault though. harassment at best for parents B. as far as parents A, i hope they cared about their girl to at least try and treat her depressing.
