Megan Meier killed herself after mean messages left by a character profile her neighbors created.

Parents of Megan Meier who committed ******* after receiving bad messages on her MySpace account say their neighbors are responsible. It's been a little over a year since a Missouri mom found her 13-year-old daughter, Megan, dead in their home. The two had just argued over messages the girl was getting from a boy named Josh.

After Megan's death, the mom found out that Josh didn't even exist. His profile on MySpace was created by a neighborhood family. That family admitted to authorities that they created the account to see if Megan would say bad things about their daughter.

Tina Meier, Megan Meier's mother, said that her daughter received e-mails or messages on her MySpace account from a boy named Josh, who said, "I don't know if I want to be friends with you any longer because I hear you're not nice to your friends."

Megan Meier obviously took this and other mean messages the wrong way and killed herself. Megan's mother said she had a problem with depression and the messages sent her over the edge.

Now, Megan's family wants that family to be held responsible for what they did, so they're working with lawmakers to pass new legislation regulating the Internet.

No charges in the incident were filed.

These parents should have their kid taken away. The parents of the dead girl should get choose between keeping the bad parent's kids or having them killed.
