All through the 1990s the left was advocating intervention in places like Haiti, Somalia, Yugoslavia and Rwanda for humanitarian reasons and nation building.

We are finally engaged in nation building and humanitarian efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our immediate withdrawal would probably lead to massive civilian casualties and a bloody sectarian war yet that is exactly what liberals are arguing for. So while they were arguing for intervention, when we had nothing to gain, a decade ago, today, they arguing against intervention when there is much to gain in terms of oil and security.

Its puzzling.

Just like what Nazi Germany did to the Jews, so liberal America is doing to the evangelical Chrisitans. It's no different. Its the same thing. Its happening all over again.

It is the Democratic congress, the liberal-based media, and the homosexuals, who want to destroy the Christians. Its more terrible than anything suffered by any minority in history.

its not only the liberals. its also the crazy conservative christian activists that protest at soldiers funerals and at abortion clinics. top that off with money grubbing televangelists, and a sprinkle of churches that don't preach what the bible really says, and you have your cause.

however i wholeheartedly agree with you. its funny how america can be so open to other world religions and lifestyles but when Christianity comes up, they HAVE to censor it.
