what i want to know is how many of you guys complaining about it actually have the OS and have been using it for more than a couple days? I hear so many people talk bad about vista and they dont even have it they just see others with it and dont particularly like how it looks, well you can make it look like nearly anything so get over it. You can even download the xp skins for it.

In 03, I elimated all toolbars except the ones I use about 60x a day. I haven't found this function in 07. It perhaps exists...

the current workaround is comma delimited from a .txt file. But that means you don't get commas in your output for digit grouping purposes

I do think it is more user friendly for those who don't spend 90% of their workday in excel. Those occasional users...it seems a little easier to do things.

because it's too much crap without enhanced capabilties. It could have spent more time enhancing the vlookup, true function...but no.

xp with a windowblinds skin of vista is just as good as vista itself to me. The only thing I miss is the "awed retard" features like the live alt-tabbing. If you know what you are doing on a computer, you don't need a mini rendered display of what a program was doing before you minimized it.

I have no use for office so I can't make a statement either way on 2k7. I'm not in school anymore so when I write I prefer barebones "just the words" shit---notepad.exe all the way.
