I don't care enough about mobility to deal with a screen that small, but that's a nice machine and a great price.

With that in mind.. i would just get a desktop lol, IMO 17" is way to large to have sitting on my lap. lol.

Well I'm 6'4" and a 17" is about perfect for sitting on the couch. Just too fukkin big and heavy to lug into class and try to balance on some of the tiny desks.

I was actually waiting for leopard to come out and had planned on getting a macbook. But i got tired of waiting and found this with more power for less monies, so i jumped on it. I might get an imac when leopard comes out because i do want to try osx again. I'm sure it has improved since i last owned a mac about a decade ago.
