I havent found a $20 remote at walmart that will control my HT, DVD, DVR/SAT, TV, and CD. My current remote (without Pc programming) wont control everything out of the box and has a limited amount of memory for learned commands. I cant fit all the commands for all my equipment in its memory.Doesn't it do the same thing as a $20 remote from walmart? Turn the TV on and off, adjust the volume, and change the channel
my uncle has the one you wanna get, the charging station is horrible for it, it takes like ten minutes and just the right touch to get it to chargehere are my 2 fav. ones

I considered the 880 when it was on sale for $99, but i didn't really like the button layout. The rechargeable part is nice but i have read a lot of bad reviews for it so i decided to pass.buddy of mine has one and i've used it quite a bit at his place. never had any problems using it and the charger is very simple. you uncle might have a faulty one
Learning remotes like that are ok, except you inevitably run out of memory to program more buttons.I have a $20 Sony Walmart Remote that I can program from other remotes, so I can make it do whatever I want...without spending $200 for a fancy little screen
