i dont see how our military is stretched thin? we have over 500,000 active army troops in service, not including marines, air force, or navy...

less than 50,000 are in iraq...

if kids were being drafted for this pointless stupid war, bush would not have won in 06 and kerry would have ended this shit already.

I think having a draft would keep politicians from support an administration for this type shit, because if they did they wouldn't be in office long.

As it is now, people can claim great patriotism and support for a war when they personally don't have to make any sacrifices.
