i wonder what would happen when a kid refuses the test.. i know thats what i would do.. even if i hadnt been drinking (never really do drink)... but i sure as fuk wouldnt piss in their cup or anything like that.
They might get a taste test if they ask nice enough..
I would only do it if someone offered to hold it for me.

Next time i take a pee cup test i'm going to bring a lime and a mini umbrella.

i never have (and never will) submit to any testing like that.

to me its just creepy and Orwellian.

who knows what they would really do with my urine.

They might plant it and charge me with PITB in the first degree.

I understand your point and Im slightly in agreement for those that oppose it, but as a father Im guessing I look at it from another point of view, despite the age of my children.
Do I think theres flaws? Absolutely. But all the same I think it could be beneficial without causing anyone harm, but more or less inconvenience.
Yeah you have a another view since ur a pappy, but its a little unfair, random drug test i can agree with that, but alcohol is legal when your 21(should be 18), in alot of states when your 18 you can drink with your parent/gaurdian. I think instead of using bs like this to stop kids from drinkin they should put more money into the school pay teachers more, somthin life that. IMO it would b alot more usefull, becuase this isnt gonna stop many kids from drinkin, if you want to stop drinking and driving put up checkpoints, i truely dont beleave this will help than stop the kids who drink once every couple months, but the kids who drink **** near every weekend i doubt itll stop 10% of them

I agree and disagree. I see how it could help certain parents who maybe are not such good parents or parents that just dont have time to spend with there kids to teach them certain things.

Then, I also agree with I am da man as well. I mean if we would make time for our kids and tell them what is right and wrong, then for the most part we wouldnt have this new so called "test". Nor would we be debating about it right now. Why you ask, its simple. Its called being a responsible parent which in most cases can lead to a responsible child.

I guess I am kinda in the middle on this one.

Minneapolis, MN (AHN) - An outbreak of herpes has forced all Minnesota high schools to shut down their wrestling programs until Feb. 6.

The Minnesota State High School League (MSHL) has temporarily banned all competition due to 24 cases of herpes gladiatorum reported by 10 teams in the state.

The virus can be spread from skin-to-skin contact with symptoms including lesions on the neck, face and head.

"Our goal is to be able to isolate and reduce (the infection) and to allow us to make sure those student-athletes that should be are cleared to wrestle in the section and have that chance to advance to state," MSHSL associate director Craig Perry told the Star Tribune. "When we weighed everything and sat down as a staff and looked at what we thought was in the best interests of student-athletes, an eight-day shutdown gave us a greater chance to ensure that we had the right kids qualifying for sections and state. That's what it was all about; it was in the best interest of the student-athletes."

The suspension should avoid any potential disqualifications at the state tournament, which is scheduled for Feb. 28-March 3.

First signs of the outbreak were reported at a tournament in Rochester in late-December.

Dr. Henry Balfour, an virology expert at the University of Minnesota, says that wrestlers are more prone to extract herpes because of the nature of the sport.

"Usually you have to have damage to the skin," he said. "If there is a break in the skin ... then the virus could take and cause a skin infection."

Infected wrestlers must sit out their matches and get doctor clearance before they are able to return.

A former wrestler, Dr. B.J. Anderson, who is a health adviser to the high school league, told AP the greatest fear in that the herpes could spread to the eye, potentially causing scarring or blindness.

A similar outbreak in occurred in 1999, when 63 wrestler were infected, and several were disqualified from the state tournament, according to Anderson.
i always knew wrestling was sort of gay, but i didnt know you could get teh sup3r h3rpes from it.
