Worked for a steel company (I was in the sales department).
Worked the minimum hours I had to for the internship, 100 hours, and was paid $8 an hour.
As for what I actually did, I was more like a human resources person. I went around to the sales and accounting employees, and some warehouse workers, and found out what they thought needed to be changed in the company and what they liked.
Then I made a big 25 page employee manual that contained all sorts of things like employee rules and regulations, how to do certain tasks (like typing in sales orders, company orders, etc.), and a few other things.
95% of the time I was sitting on my ***, making it look like I was actually doing something when in reality I wasn't.
