lol they are an anabaptist group (like amish or mennonites). Live communally, dress weird, all the men have beards..they are all over here...like 3 colonies with in like 25 miles...always see them at like walmart. i never heard of them till i moved here. It was really weired seeing a little hutterite playing xbox 360 though..

Hutterites do different things in their leisure time. They play sports, visit other colonies, work on crafts, and spend a lot of time singing.

Sport-related activities enjoyed by Hutterites are hockey, volleyball, baseball, soccer, football, lacrosse and others.

Hutterite young people from different colonies get to know each other by visiting for the day or weekend. Many different opportunities arise that enable young people to get together. For example, because Hutterites tend to help each other out a lot, a group of young people might get together to help on a building project. Other times, Hutterites might be offered a picking of required vegetables by another colony, so a trip is arranged for that purpose.

Crafts are enjoyed more by females than by males. Creating flower arrangements, knitting, crocheting, needle-point, and rug-making are some of the crafts enjoyed by Hutterian women.

Hutterites spend a lot of time choral singing. Hutterite youths sing at old-folks homes, at charity fundraisers, in hospitals and on their own and in different colonies. A large amount of time is expanded on rehearsing and singing.
