They're scheduled for release in the 1 quarter of '08. So you might be lucky to get it around the beginning of '09, with bunches of service packs to follow.

Vista doesnt seem too bad, it does take a lot of RAM to run it though. So I can understand why a lot of ppl dont like it on laptops.

As for vista ultimate, hmm... I have a new PC without much on it. I wouldnt mind a 64 bit version of Vista or Office 07. Vista might need decent hardware to run smooth and fast, but memory is ultra cheap and most new comps will probably run it fine.

I have been using XP for like 6 years or some shit. XP is the ONLY computer related thing that i was using 6 years ago and am still using today.

XP was the shit, but its time is over and Vista is king.
