Not always. We suffer when we have to (like in the early 80s).
True. But look what caused that? It was far, far worse than a few folks foreclosing on their mortgages. There is so much disposable income right now in the US, those who have it will pick up where the others left off. Things will level off in a much shorter period of time than to wait for the obvious.

How do you know. In the financial markets, there is a flight to quality. It signals people are more afraid to part with that disposable income.

im learning, but when i first heard about it i thought taht itt was a good thing.

so many people losing houses are filling up apartments.....then people that already cant afford a house are unable to find housing.

I don't, but I was there in the 80's and saw the repercussions as North America dipped into a recession that lasted a long time. All I can say is what goes around comes around. If the banks lose money from a freeze, they will make it up elsewhere. I guess this is what you are referring to as a modest change compared to a sharp spike/dip, but in the end, it will spell recession.

Well for one, you are still here and then the whole mods that didn't get voted back in getting pissed so one bans Icetee and then Goob banned Savage and now everyone in their mother is spamming the shit out of the lounge to get them back. I understand the cause, but think it could have been handled in a more mature manner instead of the useless spamming.
Not when your admin doesn't show any interest or put time into problems that are brought to him in a mature and intelligent way. Some people only focus on problems when the kicking and screaming starts, instead of nipping it in the bud. I can understand why it came to this.
