i guess its a long way off anyways...i know the 80 amp stock alt in it isnt going to cut it with the amps i have..so a new alt (and probably some deadening) will be first...

my buddy had some clear tail lights with red bulbs..i just found the law in my state and as long as it lights up red i think I'm OK. but i cant find any that are totally clear for a 06 focus ZX3..all the lights have some amount of red on them...anyone got an idea where to look?

No I have no idea, but I see you went with a 06 zx3. Nice choice. As I think I have told you before I have the ST Focus, 06 as well and love it. I would have gotten the zx3, but they dont have the 2.3 duaratec's in them. I am sure you will be happy with it though. What color did you get in the focus? Have fun with it. it made no sense to me not to offer the 2.3 in the zx3... seems like most tuner kids would rather have the hatch over a 4 door sedan..

Actually the 2.3 are easier and can do more to them in the tunning scene. Go here for some good reading and sign up. http://www.focaljet.com. They have a lot of different read ups on my car and yours and well any focus, lol! I tested both cars and the 2.3 drove competley different that the zx3 as fas as power and shifting. Plus I wanted foglights and they didnt have any at the dealer with them, lol! So after I test drove the ST, I was sold. Plus I got 500 rebate from ford, plus another 500 from the recent car auto show in Cleveland. Then they worked a hell of a deal for interest for me considering I was at 23% on last car. Now down to 8%. I am a lot better off now, lol!

Edit, just reread what you wrote and was confused. I also dont understand why they didnt do that hatch with that eng. as well. I probably would have went with the hatch then, but the 4 doors is very nice. I may never go back to 2, well except for when I drive my eclispe, which I dont drive much. i got fog lights on my ZX3, but they didnt have any ST's on the lot i went to..so i didnt drive both. The 2.0 is quick enough for me and im betting it gets better mileage (god i hope it gets a little better than the 22/29 you said you get)..

I ended up getting it a for just short of 3G under msrp with the $2500 in factory cash back...and the tint job is thrown in..i think i did ok.. my interest isnt great though at 12% //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but thats my own fault for having bad credit...plus this is my first car loan.

Yeah I hear ya about the gas mileage. I am sure you will do a lot better than me. So dont sweat that. They do tinting at your dealership huh? That is cool, wish I had that option. To be honest if you got that car in your name with bad credit and is your first loan, then you did real good man. I have shitass credit as well and went to many different dealers and I couldnt get under 15%. So I was giving up hope. But for some reason Ford was willing to work with me through Captialone. That is who my car is through. So 8% for me is great. Sounds to me like we are in the same boat, lol!

I think I will rock this car for a couple years and depending on if Ford brings back the SVT I might save and either get a Gti VW or a Honda Si. Who knows maybe I will mod the shit out of this, lol!
