In West by God Virginia the Bible can't enter a classroom of a class that is required. They do offer Bible club, but even with it you have to get a permission slip signed

I heard this rumor that the school here doesn't teach evolution and couldn't believe it, so i asked one of the high school kids at work. She told me they didn't, that they taught creationism. I still had trouble believing this, because I thought only the south was that fukked up,so today i asked another student.
She told me that not only do they not teach evolution, that her science teacher had brought a bible into class and lectured on creationism directly out of the bible. She said that their text book does have a section on evolution, but that they just skipped over it. She told me that she had actually asked about evolution, and her science teacher gave out the address to a website she could look at from home if she wanted to know about evolution.

Way to prepare the kids for college.

If they're going to teach like that then they should teach every view of the class.

I went to a catholic school and even they taught evolution.

I just cant believe that a school would do such a disservice to its students.

there's no doubt evolution exists...we evolve everyday. I just cant grasp the fact that we came from bacteria, and living matter came from non-living matter through chance

"There's no way that Moses wrote all 5 books in the Torah...the evidence is in the writing. He called god by a few different names, and many different writing styles are evident as well. Look at it this way; if you read a book where some was written by Shakespear, some by Chaucer, a little by Poe, and some more by Hemmingway, you wouldn't say that it was written by one person, would you?"

K. I still believe in God. Doesn't matter what you say I am still a believer, I really don't care if you do or don't. Although I am a Cristian, if your not willing to believe in God, I'm not going to force you to accept my belief and I expect the same in return. So don't call me an idiot for believing in God.
