Yes, you're right. There is an active member with the aforementioned .gif in their posting signature. There are more than a couple of other members who find that in very poor taste as well.
There are several families suffering mental anguish I cannot begin to imagine as a result of this 'miscommunication' and making light of their loss (especially almost immediately after the loss occurred) is in the poorest taste.

It was rather tragic what happened, but the fact that the families got false hope that from the miscommunication is even worse. And yes, the gif with the person getting hit by the car is also in bad taste.
