They weren't used to someone who actually did what he said he would. They were redfaced with embarasssment and set out to destroy Bush's presidency. They didn't care how much their constant attacks on Bush would lend aid and comfort to the radical muslims, all that mattered was getting Bush. How differant would things in Iraq be now if the Dems would have stood with Bush and the good people of Iraq? Unfortunately we'll never know.

We should pull out of Iraq and kill the patriot act.

They probably will have to raise taxes, to pay for the checks this administration is writing. They should raise taxes on the top earners. It's not like they invest what they save in the US economy; they invest overseas where they can get a better return.

I'm sure that we will have another terrorist attack in the future, but we shouldn't sacrifice the values and freedoms that we were founded on for the false promise of security.
