Speaking of UFOs, former Arizona Gov. Fife Symington says he had a close encounter with an unidentified flying object in 1997.

The Arizona Republic says Symington, now a consultant and pastry chef, is quoted in a recent report "saying he saw a large triangular 'craft of unknown origin' with lights. "It was dramatic. And it couldn't have been flares because it was too symmetrical. It had a geometric outline, a constant shape," Symington said.

The state's other major newspaper spoke with the ex-politician. "I'm a pilot and I know just about every machine that flies. It was bigger than anything that I've ever seen. It remains a great mystery. Other people saw it, responsible people," Symington tells the Arizona Daily Star. "I don't know why people would ridicule it."

Symington says he believes in some sort of aliens. "The universe is a big place and we're conceited to think we're alone."

These were taken about a block from my house. I live in the middle of nowhere. I commute 140 miles (round trip) each day for school. Can anyone beat this?

I used to have to travel that much back and forth to school.(high school). I loved the country. miss it everyday just for the laid back easy going lifestyle. here in, or near to be exact the city is go go go all the time.

here they plant mostly wheat and a little corn.

Even a few fields of sun flowers; the fields of sunflowers look cool because the heads all face the same direction..

LOTS of cows and hay fields.

I live in a town and its actually a pretty big town for the area.. we have the county court house and jail.. but its a town of about 700 people.
