I have moved away to Florida as well for half a year and came back. Was pretty young though. Might be different if I moved now that I am older. I live 1 county away from where I grew up and I know I would miss the shit out of this place if I did move. Ohio isnt all that bad really. Well where I live anyway. Low cost of living, half way decent jobs, although they are dissappearing by the month. Most my friends still live here as well as most my family.

For some reason though I always wanted to move to Maine! I dont know why, maybe I am a seaman by heart, lol!

Also Cali is way overrated. Was over there for about 3 months with my dad when I was younger as he worked for Frosty fish. I absoutley hated that place. Again I was young. I might like it more now, but doubt it.

I grew up in Seattle, moved to small town near the Olympic mountains (port angeles).

Then i moved to a naval town (Bremerton), and then Tacoma. After that back to the wilderness (Montana) for a few months, and now Ive been in south Dakota for about 3 years.

Once i finish school, I'm out of here. but i don't know where yet.. Ive been thinking either MN, or CO.

I like cities, but have mostly moved into rural areas because its so much cheaper to live.

For me it is. I get bored easily and like to do new things. That isnt to say it is for everyone though. I know a lot of people that wont ever leave their hometown. Its all in personal preference.

Well may be a nice place to call home if you have a nice profession. But for people like me with a bad back and take what job you can get, then it isnt.
