So i work construction and some of the guys were telling me crystal meth really helps them through the day. I get really tired and slow down, while they just keep going like the energizer bunny all day long.
Two people who i know do meth have already been promoted ahead of me because they can get more done in a day than i can. With the economy the way it is i could really use the raise and the extra money.

It pretty much seems like crystal meth has done nothing but good things for the people i know who do it.

Think i should start doing it with them?

I was addicted to Ice for 2 years man. There is nothing good that comes from it. Sure it makes you super active and stuff. But it doesn't pay compared to the health issues. My lungs are nearly shot from it. I used to run Cross Country, and now even after working my way up, i struggle to run a mile.

Also, I lost something like 30 pounds on it, went days without sleeping. Had terrifying hallucinations and almost didn't graduate High School.

I know it may seem like they benefit from it tremendously. But please, please, trust me when I say it isn't worth it. It will consume you. Sure you may be promoted, sure you may do better at work for a short time. But what good is a promotion when all your money goes to supporting your addiction. Trust me when I say you cannot do it on a regular basis at work and not become addicted. I wasted over $3,000 dollars on that stuff. It is never worth it. I have nothing to show for it, but bad memories and a lot of regret.
