Ever think they are running commercials because hippies want weed legalized?
If there was a meth decriminalization movement I'm guessing there would be a couple anti-meth commercials on TV?

but weed is not such a problem as coke or meth is. people dont go through withdrawls and have to be put on methadone to be able to go without it. there is a reason why people want it legal.

they still dont change my opinion on it. i just question them.

I've seen people go through psychological withdrawals from weed, not physical but still sad to see

On that note I have to run out and grab some grub incase I decide to spark up later //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

You might think it makes you cool or enlightens your limited little mind, but in reality you are a hopeless wasted life that should lighten societies burden and kill yourself.
You represent a future drain on societal resources, as you will never amount to anything or make a worthy contribution, so just do us all a favor and end it. We can do without your cancerous affliction of existence.

I know that you are blind to this, in your present state, but i speak the truth.

Even if redemption were possible, it would most likely make a poor substitute for your total absence.

Your decent into poverty, destitution and worthlessness need not hinder our intellectual evolution - as a species we have no need for your genetic contributions.

kthanksby.
I haven't read every page of this thread, but has someone pointed out the irony in the underlined sentence yet?

I don't smoke, but I know several people who do smoke that also have college degrees, make six figures, and enjoy a quality lifestyle. I also know people who smoke weed that are huge contributions to society. They do more by way of volunteer work, charity donations, etc than most people will ever do.

LOL @ the chubby comment. I know plenty of chubby non-smokers, and also plenty of daily weed smokers who are in great shape. I personally know a ton of very attractive women who smoke weed.

There are lazy, worthless potheads. There are also lazy, worthless humans in every race. Lumping them all together is just a display of ingnorance on the lumper's behalf.

I haven't taken the time to finish the thread yet, but part of me wonders if it's just a joke by the op. Then again, nothing on this board is shocking anymore.

What those type of people are the same type of people as alcoholics...

Idk bout heavy users...but I smoked for like 6 months (avg probably once, maybe twice a week) and then quit for about a year. I had no dependence on it whatsoever, and it actually wasn't hard to stop at all. I didn't mind not spending the money either..if anything it was easier for me to quit than to keep smoking, but I did enjoy smoking more than not.

Back on it as of a few months ago and now I don't know what I was thinking going through that whole year without it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I really think these guys are trying to just get a reaction. We all know there's both sides of the spectrum for everything, and stereotyping is profiling.

So, for what it's worth - I'm bout to go smoke a fat blunt and go see Gran Tarino.

Like I said, do whatever your last few braincells is telling you is right but deep down inside you know smoking pot and drugs in general are bad.
I am not going to argue with you anymore as you seem set in your ways so the only thing I can really do is pray for you and hope you redeem yourself before judgment day comes.
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Awesome.

I have an IQ in excess of 130 as per an actual Mensa test, I smoke a handful of times out of the year, and I'm quite successful in my work. I'm more "where I should be in life" than most any other 24 year old out there. My home, and 3 vehicles are all owned free and clear, by me. I will agree, that anything chemical processed is rarely good for you, and for those reasons I do not support the legalization of any other illicit drugs. There are some prescription drugs that I believe should be taken off of the market, and banned from use. Given the state of the world we live in, marijuana is something that shouldn't even be thought twice about by government agencies, except to legalize and tax it. Instead of spending the billions a year that our government does trying to get marijuana off the streets, and paying for prison accommodations for those incarcerated for marijuana-related charges, why not make a handsome sum from it's sale? Not to mention control over it's quality would prove beneficial, as well. Cigarettes are legal, and no one seems to care, but a few whacks off the pipe, and I'm going to hell? **** that.

Yes because you have not let it totally destroy your life yet, regardless of if you realize it or not is is having a detrimental effect on your life even you do not recognize it I am willing to bet those around you do.

My suggestion would be quit the weed and do something more positive, if you are not religious then volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club, A local homeless shelter or even an animal shelter to help use up some spare time and help some of the temptation.

I really hope you don't honestly believe anyone will actually heed your advice...
