I like utorrent the best, very light on system resources and takes up less then 1mb to install.

As for trackers, I like demonoid and stmusic for private, and thepiratebay for public.

X2, torrentz is the best public site I've found and utorrent works great. make sure to get the utorrent ip filter if your not using peerguardian or similar.

I have been out of the scene for a little while but unless things have changed uTorrent is generally considered THE torrent client to use.
