When I was in Busan, there was a great middle-eastern food cart called Kababistand. How are you dealing with the tiny little beverages so far? That was about the only thing that really pissed me off about Korea.
I've been carrying my own water bottle with me because i'm nervous about getting the dirty squirties. I still order a coke or something, and it's tiny, but i dont much care because i also have a my own bottle of water.

i did go to Itaewon today... it was weird seeing so many other white people... i wanted to go to the samsung museum of art.. but after i walked the whole ****ing way, and all the way up the hill to reach it... i discovered it was closed on mondays.

I also went to Dongdae stadium and walked around another insanely giant shopping district filled with skyscraper shopping centers and seas of people.

Ate some kick *** sushi... it was excellent... and amazingly cheap.. like less than $30 for a sushi/roll set and two extra rolls (no not all for me, i met up with a kid from denmark)...

overall it was an excellent day.

I even got better at the metro. Its ****ing intimidating.... but i'm getting the hang of it little by little. The exits still confuse me but i can at least manage to get on going the correct direction still.

I'm betting very few of you would actually have the balls to just move to a foreign country not knowing the language or a single person... unless you had to for military service.... maybe its not bravery.. but stupidity.... what ever it is though.. i have it...

Its actually called Hangul and i knew that before i went there and spent a few years. Remember this....beer is pronounced " Mechjoo" and stay away from kimchi
kimchi is good. I still eat it every once in a while.

Well 1,000,000 note would be $1000 US dollars... we have them i guess but they arent really used in day to day life..
But come on to not have a $100 bill?!! wtf? When the biggest bill is $10... it makes for a dam full wallet.

ya i heard about that place... don't feel up to it quite yet... still adjusting and shit.. you were in the service right? So you had a nice american base to come home to at night where there are other americans... me? i'm totallly immersed 24/4... it's cool but a little overwhelming... sort of taking it in slow.

I doubt many people are actually brave (or stupid) enough to actually just show up by themselves in a foreign country where the only word they know is hello/good by.
I wish i didnt have to go back to the BaSe. I would love to live there like you are.

highest dollar value bill in the Tresury now is the $100, IIRC. they stopped production on the higher dollar value bills, which doesnt make sense, it costs the same to make a dollar as it does a hundred lol

i dont speak korean and they dont speak english.
I really wish someone would have mentioned the language barrier before i got here...

i might not have come if i had known that no one would be able to understand me and i wouldn't be able to read any of the signs or anything.
I would first start out by figuring out how to make them understand you are far superior to any of them. This usually puts them inline to catering to you and makes the process easier.

Kimchi is good.
Indeed, I think the "get to know you" period is over. It's time to start dominating those little fvckers.
I think he should walk down the street handing out little American flags.
Make it a testical photo/american flag combo lapel ftw.
