Really the only reason it works is because you bought all the necessary products for good skin care. Where as if you just went to walmart you would probably only by face wash and not all the other shit you need. Exfoliater, moisturizer, quality shaving cream, etc...

I do the following:

1) take a shower, get some hot water on my neck to soften up mah hurrr.

2)shave and dry off dabbing with a towel

3) put some aloe+vitamin e lotion on it, almost like neosporin, except not medical.

4) if i'm going somewhere where i want to present myself, aftershave. Shit burns like a ****ing mother ****er though if you cut yourself at all. Worth it though because you smell fresh.

i use proactiv so i use the first step thing (abrasive) as a exfoliator thingy since i barely use any. I have like 6 months supply left over of the first two steps.

Nah man, at least not IMO. I use their shit too, their shaving cream is BEASTLY. Better than any other shit I've tried, well, next to the Jack Black facial stuff I have. But Jack Black is too expensive for day-to-day use, Clinique does the job and is still cheap as fawk.
