I'm just stoked. I imagine it will be a crazy *** experience.
Those Siberian winds that whip down are nastier than the Canadian ones. Still, if you wanted a beginner's course in how to survive north Asian winters, South Dakota did get you schooled!Well considering i currently live in South Dakota where it gets -40 F at times (not including the wind chill) i think i can handle it. Yeah i grew up in the PNW (Tacoma) and the first winter here was quite a shock! Those Siberian winds that whip down are nastier than the Canadian ones. Still, if you wanted a beginner's course in how to survive north Asian winters, South Dakota did get you schooled!
-40...that was the temp facing the Wehrmacht in front of Moscow in December 1941. Everything froze in place. The Russians counterattacked and won. I think I'll stay put right in moderate climate Coos Bay...LOL!

Where were you at? I'm going to Seoul, to attend Korea University which is supposed to be one of the best private universities over there. Its a big school too, the student/faculty population is larger than the entire town where i currently attend school.Cool
I had a shit load of fun the year I spent over there. Shopping and the night club scene is insane out there.
I was in Uijeoungbu(sp) that about 1hr north of seoul. I went down to Seoul for the weekends to shop and party. Get in good with the locals and they will show you around. One of the best clubing spots was called Hundayi or something like that, but it was a street that was filled with clubs! Iam talking about the streets were freaking packed shoulder to shoulder. In fact i remember me and 4 of my friends went out there one night and lost one person only to find him outside pasted out on a slab of concrete..HAHAYeah i grew up in the PNW (Tacoma) and the first winter here was quite a shock!

Its going to be crazy going from a town of 700 people to one of the most densely populated cities in the world with about 14 million people or some shit.
