Why my fu showing 4 ohm at box?

You may have your jumper wire on incorrectly
yes d4 wired i thought to 2 ohm, which is y i took it out to check it and striped ends off and re did it, it's wired right i thought wire came out is y i took it out.. even if i wired it wrong it would be 8ohm not 4.. i only checked 1 coil on sub cause other 1 i had just put the wires back in but the 1 i checked showed close to 7ohm.. it's a stupid check meter no doubt but are ohms different than volts on meter cause works great for those and the pioneer i tested showed 4.5oh.. my house speaker showed 8ohm (as it should) so i don't think it's meter.. i'll find another one to use sometime before i email frank.. but it's weird..

Id still pull that sub out and the wiring off and check each coil BARE/no other wiring attatched with a DMM.Thats the safest and for certain way to check each coil individually with nothing attatched to be sure

I had an issue once where I put a staple through the wire inside the box keeping the wiring stable,on one sub throwing it all off on a set of four XFLs running one amp on each pair, knowing my amps I tested once again were dead on just fine/no issues.I mean is wasnt what I wanted to do, pull both subs back out ect but it had to be done to rule certain things out before I found the Culprit

there wasn't anything on coil i checked.. i'll wait a while til i can check it with better meter don't wanta mess sub up pulling it out every day.. i had another meter show stupid volts on batt 1 day yr's ago, went to advance it was battery in meter that's y i changed this one and checked it again.. wire is straight through box not terminal on box so should be almost dead on 2 ohm., may see if neighbor will loan me his..

I didnt have any issues for over a month banging the hell out of them till one day..I guess the wire finally burnt in half..I shut her down and continued on the other pair till i found the issue

i got nothing but wire and sub..

Id still pull the sub..You could even have a + strand grounding out on the basket even. But Get a fairly decent DMM.I have a cheaper one I picked up at Orileys for like $23 bucks compared to my more expensive Fluke that has served me pretty well, and can test batteries easily also. Its a INNOVA 3320 made by iEquus, and had been a little work horse uses regular aa batteries if I remember correctly and not those little expensive batteries.Has a little stand, and a bungie so you can place it on your wrist even.Big Display for peeps like me that cant see chits anymore.Pull it and check it though, be what Id do.Rule the sub out first and then go to the wiring/trace chits down or rewire to make sure your wiring is good from amp to sub
