got a 2001 f150 4 door king ranch with only 84k on it 2wd 5.4l great shape just did a tune up on it changed coils and plugs.
but i live in FL

My liquid assets would cover a decent vehicle off the lot, but I'm house hunting as well, so I have to take the downpayment into consideration as well.

I'd rather buy something used that's not abused, then scrimp on my housing.

Basically you are saying that you can't afford the premiums, but you think that everyone should offer their perfect condition vehicle to you for wholesale value? I comprehend very well, and I normally don't respond to idiots such as yourself.

Also, there are many more F-Body owners with hitches installed on their vehicles (http://www.ls1lt1.com), especially for people such as myself with motorcycles. I don't know who told you that the Maxima that you had was the hot stuff, but you most certainly were fooled. I don't even want to start on the choice of rims you had on it either.
