Why does my Ipod sound like garbage on my brand new Eclipse HU?

Upon further inspection, i noticed that regardless of wire, the ipod will distort if you turn the volume up too high on the ipod itself, so there was actually nothing at all wrong wtih the original wire. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif
it is the same effect of turning your head unit up to high.

CLIPPING!!!!!!!!!!!

if you dont get the concept, let someone install your stuff, then let that someone show you how to work your stuff.

Some mp3 players distort when reproducing music at full volume.
For instance the Archos V2 Recorder that i own...

I can only put it at 91/100 volume and it distorts above that, sounds 100% fine below 91/100.

Try touching it down a bit, see if there's a difference
post #16....

woot

Also, my sub sounds alot weaker and its not hitting as hard is it was before now for some reason, I have non-fader all the way up, and i set the EQ to +3 on 63hz,80z and 100hz, but its not hitting nearly as hard is it was before. Do i have to up the amp gain or something?
