This has a sealed box that is 1.25cuft and it holds pretty well. I have 1.55cuft which is the largest specified box. You think if i get the largest ported enclosure it will make it louder for most songs because most songs have bass within 50-80hz? I want plans for the largest ported enclosure. 2.75cuft @ 30 hz. My sealed enclosure is very well constructed and plays from 0-500hz very well, so if all fails i will have this sealed enclosure. I love my video of the 10-0hz sine wave.

I have a 15" which mounting diameter is 13.875". The front baffle is only 13" tall. It wont work out. I wish //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

common sense would tell the average person that yes you are correct the box is too short in order for it to work one must modify it in a way to accoma date a larger driver or mount the effing thing on the top

i was thinking about mounting the woofer on top but which way to face the port? i may just do that.

If you mount the sub on the top of the enclosure, you are going to want to play around with the direction of the port. From what i have seen, sub up and port back works well. But, you may have better results with sub up and port forward. or port to the side. Just build the box, affix the sub, and play around with the port direction until you find something that sounds good.

I have seen you ask many questions about this sub, you should just buy something like bassbox pro, or have someone design a custom box for you.

Although, I'm going to hat myself in the morning, toxicbass comes to mind.......

Ehhh, I think those numbers are a little high for one thing. Try 25-55hz.
