Why do ppl run so many 0awg runs to the back in SLP vehicles?

Im not a SPL guy and Ill never be one.

I see build logs with ppl running 5+ runs of 0awg wire from the front to the rear batteries.

What is the purpose of this? If a single 0awg wire can handle 300A @ 15ft, why do they need to run 5+ runs of 0awg?

You would need five 300a alts to really NEED all 5 runs of 0awg.

So, why do they do it?

 
keeps resistance down, which, at competitive SPL matches, that .1 volt can make a difference of .01db etc

at least thats what it is to my understanding
