why do i keep blowing fuses?

The wire that goes from my battery to my amp has a small fuse box under the hood before it goes through my firewall and the **** thing keeps ****in blowing, i have had to swap it maybe 4 or 5 times this week and its starting to bug, any ideas why its doing this?!?!

thats a sign that your amp is gonna blow soon. I would be real careful with it until you can get a new one. I blew 4 fuses in one day and the next day i didn't have an amp. You know why the fuse is thier right?

Double check all you're wiring. Make sure all the connnections are good, check your grounds and make sure you have the proper sized fuse in there.

Do YOU know why the fuse is there?

I hate reading posts like this because how could you replace a fuse 4 times in one day without even attempting to fix it? You should've been looking for what happened after the first fuse blew. They don't blow for no reason, and that reason is why you lost an amp.

yeah they are there to take the hit instead of your amp right? i dont know i have a shitty *** lighting audio amp 250.2 pushing 2 12jlw3v2's. so im sure thats my problem right there. What is the best most inexpensive amp to push my 2 subs with? and also would my subs fit in this box?

lightning audio 250.2 and the fuse size is a 30?

how big are your fuses in your amp? Are they close to the same as in your power line. Check that.
