Why can't I post in other threads without approval?

You need to have 10 posts or more before you can post pics or links. I thought it was set at 2 posts, but apparently its still 10. Its anti-spambot software that keeps automated marketing programs from signing up and spamming the site with pics of products for sale. Sorry for the inconvenience, just get your post count a little higher and the problem should take care of itself.
